Action for Environment conducted an awareness and tree donation event at Kahda High School with more than 1,100 students. The awareness program conducted during the student morning program focused the importance of the environment, how important it is to preserve it and the role of younger generation in protecting the environment.
The head of A4E’s outreach office, Mr. Mohamed Abdulkadir (FJ) addressed a wide range of issues to the students and encouraged them to take part in local awareness campaigns. At the end of the program, the Chairman of A4E, Mr. Abdilatif Hussein Omar, presented to the of the school Principal, Mr. Mohamed Abdullahi, planting trees to increase the school’s green area.
